It is an understatement
in the least to say that facilitating high level, high impact Maternal
Child and
Family Health information systems is a challenge in the new, lean
economy. If the development, implementation and business models for
providing effective systems used in the past were silo based, overpriced
and overstaffed, then these models will have no place in a time where
success in the new economy is defined by “thin” high
performance inter-operable technology innovation. On many levels
information technology has become inflated and self-limiting or completely
inaccessible to organizations that so critically need it now more
than ever. The reality is that, given the current economic challenges
where there are substantially less resources than in the past and
a growing population to be served, it is imperative that innovative
and affordable information technology solutions be accessible to
MCH organizations.
MCH organizations are most successful when they work with information
systems developers and service providers that not only are capable of
delivering the technology, but that understand and advocate the mission
of advancing MCH programs. This means that IT partners must do everything
necessary to make sure that the cost of developing and providing information
technology aligns with the pace of the new, lean economy. GO BEYOND is
proud of our long standing track record based on this approach to solutions
development and implementation.
GO BEYOND is committed to finding ways to do all of this better,
cheaper and with a firmer commitment to being a long term stakeholder
with our MCH partners. When taking this approach, information technology
no longer is inflated, cumbersome, and unreachable, but instead
becomes an effective and progressive tool to make the difference
in the lives of those that we all serve.
